CT Rain
Looks like DCA is getting hosed... missing all the stuff to the SE. So even though mid level warmth overperformed around ORF, RDU, and ATL (or maybe the forecasts just sucked) the NW edge may have been over modeled by models like the Euro. moneypitmike
GYX maps. Certainly a nicer appeal for here than back in Shelburne.
TauntonBlizzard2013
Seems like we might have had a bit of an over correction West. Reality looks like it may end up east of where models had it last night.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
I think it comes in as far west as models had it, I don't see why it would be further east.

My only question is whether I have no/some/significant impact driving between Maine and GC later this afternoon. I'm thinking for a stretch I'll be in the 'some', but the bulk of it will be little. CoastalWx
The overall midlevels look pretty good...I wonder if it results in a more tightening QPF field instead of widespread lower amounts. That's what tends to happen.

Mr. Windcredible!
Latest HRRR still have 4" back to I-91 in CT...and that's with 10:1. Of course it was terrible yesterday morning...but hopefully performs better today. I do wonder if the ragged look of the western edge in the MId Atlantic translates up here...because I would expect to see some screw zones in that case. My personal call for CT is 1-3" west of I-91, 3-6" between 91 & the river...and 5-9" east of the river.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
