In central Suffolk having Chilis (they're open!). A period of very heavy snow came through about an hour ago and has remained moderate to this point. The wings have picked up a lot to the point where there is a lot of blowing and drifting snow. more than 6 inches at this point. Temps 22 degrees. That might go on for another hour or so. Hopefully that can tack on another 1/2 to locally 1". Eastern Suffolk should have some lucky spots to 15". Honestly really hard to tell - lots of open space so the snow is blown around a lot. I can't rely on any top surfaces because there's only a couple inches but I know we definitely got a lot of snow. 8-10 sounds right though.
