Cfa
Winter Storm Warning for Queens and Brooklyn. 4-8 inches. Highest totals in Southern Queens. How nice. Also, being near the border of Nassau/Queens is annoying when weather alerts are issued. My phone goes haywire.

nyblizz44
Judging by radar , snowfall instensity out of my window I think UPTON is going to have a very busy afternoon. Sometime around 3p they may need to revisit those accumilations one more time even after this initial bump up

It's been snowing to beat the band here for the past half an hour or so. Have the totals gone up for Eastern Morris, or is it nowcasting? Well, the totals have definitely increased across the board. jm1220
Agreed about the CT River valley snow hole-snow tries to get heavier here but gets broken up from time to time. You can see on the radar the dry signature coming from the NNE in CT. Looks like heavier stuff is about to come in from Monmouth.

Neblizzard
Credit goes to the NAM and especiallly the RGEM for this one. We know how bad the NAM has been, but when it's on? It's deadly . It's the model that always sniffs out trends and when it showed a significant storm for the NJ shore just two days ago...that Was the start of this westward trend.
