* LOCATION...THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE CORRIDOR IN SOUTHWESTERN AND
  CENTRAL NEW JERSEY.

* HAZARD TYPE...SNOW.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 7 INCHES WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS EAST
  OF THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH MOST OF THE AFTERNOON BEFORE
  TAPERING OFF FROM WEST TO EAST BY THE EARLY EVENING. A PERIOD OF
  MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL OCCUR THROUGH THE MID AFTERNOON WHEN
  SNOWFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE VERY HAZARDOUS TODAY WITH SNOW

Dad was wondering why there was no WWA in Union. Roads are a mess there, many were unaware.

Well, the totals have definitely increased across the board.  Yesterday Mount Holly's map had most of Morris in the 1 inch category.  The advisory for us is now 2-4"

Funny thing is, their forecast map still has us at 1-2" despite the advisory being twice that.

Credit goes to the NAM and especiallly the RGEM for this one.  We know how bad the NAM has been, but when it's on?  It's deadly .   It's the model that always sniffs out trends and when it showed a significant storm for the NJ shore just two days ago...that Was the start of this westward trend.
