Yes. But most here and all media gave it too much weight and were way too low with snow amounts.

Rgem has been locked in for many many runs. Never choose the GFS over that model.

TWC obviously went with it which explains their 1-3" they're still going with in NYC. Now watch it ramp up to 5-8".

And the warnings should be expanded west again, maybe even into Bergen/Union/Middlesex Counties.

Yea I was reading their discussions/obs last night and was clear that there were many disappointments, particularly from Charlotte up through Raleigh.  The northern and western parts of the state did well.

Just north of Charlotte got 8", south of town a mixed bag. Very difficult forecast

The CT river valley dry nose is evident on radar as it often is at the start of a snow event.  Heavier echoes into N NJ and cntrl and ern LI but not as much from Monmouth NE across NYC and WRN LI

dunno what your seeing but n.y.c proper is getting clipped right now. these bands play no games lol

The ground obs are definitely outperforming the radar echoes in there for sure.  Often we'll see 2-3-4 SM while  MMU/ISP may be 1/2 when this occurs.

Was trying to figure out how to copy/paste a radar screen shot and couldn't do it directly.  Inspecting the URL for this, it looks like you've uploaded this to somewhere on this site.  Is that correct, and if so, how does one do that?  Thanks!

I saved the image to my computer and used the attachment function on the toolbar. When you attach the image it'll appear in a box named "uploaded images." Click to add the image. I usually copy the URL, but that didn't work for this image. Hope this helps.
