RU848789
As of 10 am here in Metuchen, we're officially beyond a coating and have 1/4" of new snow on the ground. Snowing moderately now. Radar looks great from a line from about New Hope to Parsippany and points S/E of there. Wonder if that's going to be the demarcation between not much and significant snow. BxWeatherwatcher
some might argue that the setup here kind of favors n.y.c more then boston. warmer air is invading the cape and and the islands right now, as dry air is also eating away at the precip. might have mixing issues on the eastern end also if this eeks anymore west. SE Mass will still do very well. And it's plenty cold enough there for all snow. The low isn't really throwing back too much warm air this far north and the dynamics of the storm will increase for them through moisture off the ocean and being closer to the low. BOS looks close to a cutoff with their northern suburbs between a raging storm and a more pedestrian event.
