I-83 BLIZZARD Posted January 6, 2017 Share Posted January 6, 2017 Snowing moderately for last 20 min with heavy bursts. Measured an average of 3.1 inches. 4 inches not impossible by sunrise. I'm surprised but pleased. I'm pretty much a coastal dweller with work in Baltimore and SW D.C. Nice to see the homestead in the hills pick up something on the Mason Dixon. Fail. It's my daughter's birthday, so I was hoping she would wake up to some birthday snow. She remembers the blizzard and got excited when listening to Christmas music for the last month, so she's impatient to see her first snow of the year!
