maybe they dropped some dry ice out there, over the pacific.   seems like quite a dramatic change in strength from a storm that was about 24 hours from landfall.  I haven't seen such model error in 20 years. 

I bet it's a government conspiracy.

Houston, we have a problem. 

Sounds like their deliberately trying to make this thing fail.

Levels are back up to 860, as they try to act like everything's under control. 

Levels continue to rise, even as they continue to 'say' outlfows are outnumbering inflows -

above normal temps the next week = a lot of snowmelt incoming.  

they also just announced the main spillway is under construction and won't be able to open until March 17th at the earliest.  

these are all things the casual observer could of noticed from the outside.
