I'll definitely have to eat crow hard to that met in Dover, NH if that's close to correct. I would happily sacrifice your pride and dignity to jbenedet for 6" of snow. Spanks45
I see there are a few more EURO ensemble members pushing snow further south into CT around day 4, there were none on last nights run. It isn't much, maybe a couple inches. I fully understand this is most likely a NNE chance, just mentioning what they are showing at the moment. powderfreak
The Euro Ensembles are really far south with that Day 4-5 event. The mean tracks a low along the south coast of SNE from Long Island to ACK. Has the 2" snowfall line running around the CT/MA border. 6"+ for a zone of interior NH/ME and a large area of 2-6" across everyone else north of the Pike. That should get Kev going...he can taste it.

If SNE could get even a couple degrees colder it would be a paste bomb there too. Be interesting to see if the Euro grabs another mid-range win over the other models. weathafella
The big pattern change timing gets closer. We're in for quIte a February. Meanwhile I have a fight to ORD Friday near Noon. That system better not get further south or I'll need to try to get out the night before...lol.
jbenedet
We talk a lot about snow cover in Siberia--how about a look closer to home? I would think those stubborn surface highs manifesting in southern Quebec have much to do with this:
