Do we have any clarity on the weekend storm?  No preceip forecasted up here although it gets colder after Friday.  Interpreting WPC maps cold high pressure moves over for the weekend and a low slips by off the SE Mid Atlantic coast.  By Monday we have a high over northern plains and a low in SE Missouri that looks ready to cut.  Doesn't seem like a good pattern setting up for next week.

weekend a rainer? not much discussion going on..

That's an eternity away in this pattern.  GFS verbatim is some light snows as a piece of energy breaks off the main one out west and cuts under us.  Next to nothing precip wise N of MA/CT/RI border and even that is pretty miniscule.

Not necessarily with a weakening high and meh forcing.

Yeah, with thah ULL burying itself in the SW, everything is weak until that moves E and by than the confluence to our N breaks down.

If that SW energy was more progressive we'd have something to discuss.
