Ralph Wiggum
I know there is a wind advisory but damn the winds that came through here the last 15 minutes rivaled Sandy, hard to believe the power has stayed on. You had 80mph wind gusts???

Bliz299
As of 7:45am (13th) peak gust of 54mph@5:48am. Since 7am the highest has been 43mph. Does seem the highest has most likely been reached as detailed in Mt. Holly's current AFD. That's fine by me!

JTA66
Unlike snow, our wind events rarely underperform. I was also woken up by a gust in the middle of the night that rattled the house pretty good, I'm guessing it was upwards of 45mph+.

Hurricane Agnes
Just when this forum proclaimed winter cancel, I go out the door just before 4 pm to run some errands and get hit with rain that transitioned to a rain/sleet mix that becomes rain/snow then mostly snow. It lasted about 15 minutes and I saw the storm clouds rolling in just before but didn't expect frozen in Philly metro. Temp was 38F in the car while it was going on (was mid-40s before the front around 3:45).

ChescoWx
Looks like record highs are not going to be in reach here in Western Chester County as our daily records are as follows: 2/22 - 68 (1974) 2/23 - 69 (1922& 1972) 2/24 - 74 (1985) However, if the month ended today it would be the 3rd warmest February in Chester County co-op history since 1894. Warmest February's 1998 (40.0) 1909 (39.5) 2017 (38.3)

Ralph Wiggum
Not exactly something to be celebrating!!If you are an avid sport fishermen and are a chef that does alot of outdoor grilling for various events, this is worth a thumbs up. Just wish this fog would clear. Aside from a fluke March slop snow that will melt in 12 hours or so, this winter is done for all intents and purposes. Focus has shifted to outdoor activities :-)
