It actually looks a bit more robust on its trip through TN. Tri looks good with higher qpf this run from the first wave than the 18Z.
ShawnEastTN
If my eyes aren't deceiving me it looks like out to H 36 the NAM may be showing a NW jig over 18Z... At least comparing previous runs precip is ever so slightly NW of previous run same frame.

John1122
1st wave on the NAM was more robust. 18z was basically dry. 00z gives 1-2 inches across the area in spots.
Stovepipe
At least it's plenty cold, so we have that going for us, which is nice.

I see some darker blues in our neck of the woods. This time yesterday, it was mostly missing us to the north.

Mrwolf1972
The main storm is slower then previous runs hope the GFS shows us more NW movement.
JayCee
Now if we can get wave #2 to jog a little northwest yet again, we'll add another couple of inches to that in East TN. Not too shabby considering earlier today it looked like the game was over for us.
Stovepipe
This is a good run for east TN for sure. I was figuring we'd see the big NW jog at 12z. Looks like that was 12 hours too early. If RGEM and GFS get on board it's happy time over in these parts. Will we all be speaking French tomorrow?

John1122
NAM was somewhat slower and developed a bigger precip field that run. Good trend again, especially on the far East side of the region.

Oldballcoach
It's amazing how much this thing has danced in the last 20 hours or so. How much of a change can we expect upon landfall tomorrow
tnweathernut
Many times in the last 10-15 years I watched forecasts and modeling indicate one thing and then noticed the radar coming in north and west of those indications. Will be interesting to see how this event sets up. I'd feel better if I were in northeast NC or SE Virginia..
Olhausen
What's up everyone? Man this storm has not looked great for us in Tennessee. Especially up here in White House tennessee. Really need that first wave to over perform unless wave number 2 comes way north. I saw posted earlier and I also agree this one well hurt if we miss out with all this cold air in place. I'll definitely be up for the euro to see if we can pull of a miracle!

I hope the first wave keeps beefing up as well. I'm still jelly of that dumping of snow White House got a year or two ago. Ya'll cashed in on a nice one, hopefully you will again soon! Yes that was last January 21st and I ended up with a foot right on the dot. Winter before that I got two different 5 inch snow storms within 3 weeks of eachother. It's safe to say I busted the snow drought up here but I'm hoping for three winters in a row of glory.
