gravitylover
Well it was wet for about an hour from ~7:30-8:30. Nothing terribly significant but when I went out to put the bikes on the car to go for a ride it was raining. Going to try again in a few minutes... You should come sit in my garden then maybe I won't have to water as you seem to be a rain magnet.
snywx
Currently 76/58 w/ a nice breeze. Curious to see where this narrow axis of heavy rain sets up. My money is on somewhere between The Bronx & Orange county.

Its been a nice steady rain here so far so it's soaking in instead of running off, I hope it adds up to a decent total in the bucket.
BxEngine
Was a nice soaking rain earlier. Now its been heavy for a while, roads dont look great. Silt and dirt all over. Who wants to go hydroplaning with me?

IrishRob17
Looks like just over a half inch near me but its a very beneficial rain due to the rates not being crazy like I've had recently with the thunderstorms.
nycemt123
As I was driving to work today, there were a few points that were legit whiteout conditions. On another note: Anyone else see that second line at the lakes? Hope that stays together! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

IrishRob17
The 15z HRRR looks a bit better around here. Hopefully the sun breaking out now is a good omen for later.

I have 0.54 in the bucket so far today with the cloud deck rising. We'll see if the stuff out by KBGM holds together.
gravitylover
Second half of the day turned out to be pretty nice. Looks like we got wet again while I was sleeping though so probably pushed 2" for the 24 hour period. Wife and kids want to go check out a balloon festival at sunrise, I hope it's dry. I hate to waste an early wake up and drive to get to a bummer event.
gravitylover
Turned out to be a nice sunrise and morning to be outside. Balloon festivals are always cool. What are the chances that building line of storms in the middle of the state holds together and gets us wet later?

Juliancolton
It looks like the weather could get quite nasty at the end of the week. The Euro keeps temps in the mid 60s on Friday afternoon under widespread rainfall...
gravitylover
Well, we actually did get almost exactly 48 hours between rainstorms. Yay Yeah Friday looks ugly I really need Saturday to be nice, we're doing an outdoor HS grad party for our twins daughters.
Juliancolton
Dews reaching 75F across the area. Not sure what the guidance has been but this sort of took me by surprise.
