Guess you should have been a bit further north and east. I was in Pittsfield and they got absolutely hammered with super heavy rain. It looked like west of there got hit nearly as hard but as I went further south down Rt 22 coming home it was much more spotty and then mostly dry by the time I hit central Dutchess County. That happened last Monday and most of the water just ran off so that 1.35" wasn't as beneficial as it would have been had it fallen over the course of a whole day rather than in less than an hour but that's summer time showers for ya.
