gravitylover
Sunny areas are nearly melted off in most places here, shaded or in the trees is covered. The ground under the snow is mush though so everything will melt off very quickly once that starts happening. I was out in the woods today and nothing is frozen. The snow that fell on Friday insulated warm ground and is keeping it that way. I was hoping that the crazy cold temps the last two nights would freeze it but that didn't happen. JerseyWx
Yeah, the sun eats away at a lot for me. The houses that don't get much sun still have a thin, but nice coating of snow.

Juliancolton
Quick mover on the NAM - the meat of the snow is in and out in 10 hours or so. It's gonna be nuking for that period, but duration is the limiting factor here. I think 20" totals could be rare but we'll have to wait and see

Its still an eastern outlier even with this correction
JerseyWx
I'm telling you, that mega band keeps popping up on the NAM especially. That thing is going to be incredible if it's as modeled. Curious to see what the UKMET says.
