That gap at the end of the tape invalidates your measurements.  ZZZZaaap

I use a good old wooden yardstick.  You know the ones that cost $1 that they used to whack your knuckles with in school when you fell asleep in class.  Yeah those.  They're super accurate.

Maybe it's easier to just not measure.. and let people 70 miles away tell me what I got lol

The Canadian suite looks nice for up here. I may be missing a warm layer somewhere on the GGEM but it looks like that solution would be all snow imby, and possibly approaching warning criteria. Near blizzard in the rear-view, pack freshener underway, moderate event in the works, and big dog prospects on the horizon... winter has hit its stride

I laughed at your characterizations of Upstate by Downstaters.  Well done!  I sometimes get the feeling from SNY natives that drive "all the way" up here that we're just short of humanity...

Hopefully all of ENY can get in on the Sun-Mon deal.  The 14" yesterday was just several inches shy of my total from all of last winter.

Got a wwa for 2 inches of sleet, snow and freezing rain. 1/4 inch plus of glaze possible. Mt holly afd discuss lots of questions in the forecast with depth of cold. Apparently I need a few more model ticks in cold to increase snow totals.

tomorrow will be interesting.

noted upton nws calling for 2-4 in northern Passaic county to my east.

I'm liking the colder solution.. CAD is always undermodeled, especially with decent elevation..

HRRR lines up with RGEM thinking
