Strange, I'm about 5-6 miles NW of you in Garrison (450 ft elevation) we have been been getting consistent sleet and small grain snow on howling wind for the last 3 hrs.  Probably 1.5-2" new in that time.

Total so far is roughly 18-20" depending on measurement spot.  Drifting is intense.

Yeah I'm not sure how I'm going to measure this.  Some spots are nearly blown clean while others are waist deep.  I'd like to call it 18 but I don't know if I can do that in good conscience.

Without a doubt. We went to a mostly sleet with some snow mix for two hours. I'm sure I lost at least 3 inches of snow from that.

At 19.5 now, I just want to break that 20. I haven't seen that since the Valentines Day 2014 storm.

I know this sounds greedy but who gives a sh!t, if this was 50 miles east we get our 30+

Areas 10-15 miles to my W in NEPA def hit the 30" mark. They never dry slotted

Someone just east of Binghamton is going to potentially get 4 feet. A spotter out of trout creek in Delaware county had 37" almost an hour ago and up into Hamilton county in the Adirondacks absolutely crushed carbon copy of where band setup in valentines 07 they were due as well up there

Man I missed a great storm. Family back in my area did their best to measure, saying roughly 24" to 25" has fallen. Consistent with the trained spotter out of my area via Binghamton Nws storm reports. Seeing reports between 24" to 30" inches coming in from Nepa to Central Ny. Man did central NY near Binghamton luck out with that far west track! Historic or not, one he'll of an event for the far interior!

And I'm a mile  or so from the town line and have 18" on the ground best I can tell. Wish I knew where exactly in Montgomery they were asbits a large town and how they are measuring.

26" reported just a few miles from me in red oaks mill. Tough measuring but I think 23-26 seems accurate still snowing

There's no way anybody in Dutchess got 26". Those reports on the PNS are from notorious slant stickers. I measured 16.2" on my board in the middle of an open field, so I'm confident in that total (so far).

Actually just went back to a decent flake quality for the first time since 1 pm and heaviest precipitation in a while as well.  Haven't gone out to me shielded spot but have to be near/past 20" by now.  The whole front of my neighbors truck is buried in a drift up to its windshield!

If I used the measurements off my deck I'd have close to 5" more as I was comparing them all day, maybe I should use that total?  LOL.  I know it's tainted, snow blowing off the roof.
