Sure, but after 3 good years, we were probably due for a bad one.

When Norfolk is getting a blizzard and my daughter has 10 inches at her college in Greensboro and I am begging for flurries, I won't be rational. Nor do I believe in "we are due for a bad winter". We've had chances, just **** luck.

Well at least we're seeing some nice Snow TV and a coating. I'm just going to enjoy each event as they come. Maybe we'll get a real storm some time this winter, but if not, oh well.

Tracking snow in my beloved corridor inspired me...lol

(To be sung to Bizet's "Toreador Song"--i.e. What Tucker sings on the Royal Farms Commercial)

Corridor of I-95
Snow north and west
Southeast a mess
Where the rain-snow line goes no one can see
Forecasters cannot agree

And if the storm's suppressed
We'll be depressed
And snowholes tear our soulllllll!!!

This storm sucks... the fact that every other major city from Norfolk to Boston got a decent storm is starting to get to me. No, it's not Boxing day bad, but it's still a feeling of being left out compared to people both north and south of me. Oh well.
