Since the thread for the potential (now almost non-existent) NYE-01/03 (or somewhere in there) Winter Storm has been deleted, who and what kind of thread can we put in it's place. Regardless if the Models are grinding this one to nothing for us, it still helps to see what is taking place and pick-up on any trends that have implication(s) for the future, etc. Just a thought...

Well, doesn't fit in the Jan3 Storm conversation, nor the Med-Long Range, and the Jan 1 thread was deleted, but the 0z NAM is still holding on to the idea of qpf being much farther north at 24hrs.  Maybe a few token frozen flecks from the sky for some folks. RGEM says, "No," though.

When did model run play-by-play posts become seven-word nondescriptive sentences with little context or information?  Always been a problem, but has been bad lately.

”This run’s not gonna cut it.”

Oh, really, Sherlock.  How about elaborating?

How about learning how to read models yourself Watson.

I do and choose to read instead of post.  (Isn’t that the mantra we constantly hear around here?)  But it’s helpful when those who do decide to post actually add some meat to the stew instead of cluttering up the disco with what amounts to little more than banter.
