The next 48 hours is the timeframe we are interested in. Also it's useful to see what type of trend or changes it shows. I've found it to be quite good within 60 hours.

I'm stuck at 36...it looks like the GFS is farthest east with the northern stream dropping down, then NAM, then Euro...so it looks in between to me.  NAM looks a little healthier than Euro with the wave itself off Oregon

If you look at the 500 setup that you have pulled up in the second frame, Wow is really good with this stuff. Theres a lot more interaction between the shortwave and the northern stream activity, whereas the gfs has both separated more and not as much interaction.
