TARHEELPROGRAMMER
ECMWF says who wants some cold rain for most people in the south. How crazy is it that the models are this far off this close in?

So GFS is bone chilling cold but suppressed and the Euro is juiced but we taint. Seems like just about every winter around here. The Atlantic ridge just sucks.... At this point I hope this fizzles out so we can get back to normal....watching day 11+ anomaly maps for hope of a pattern change.
No snow for you
Would this classify as "losing the storm" like has been warned several times before would happen? Asking for a friend.

Brick Tamland
I mean, 5 to 6 inches that the Euro showed wouldn't be bad. I just don't want to see the totals decreasing. And just worried this is an all or nothing deal. Wouldn't take much change for it to be a monster storm, and wouldn't take much change for it to be hardly anything. wx n of atl
I believe tomorrow the models will certainly have much better sampling and will adjust accordingly. I remember one year wx models adjusted like 300 miles once. Not that this will happen this time, but I would be ready for tomorrows models, routing for everyone! Cold Rain
Hopefully we reach maximum sucktitude amplification by 12z tomorrow and then start to come back in line from that point. I expect a load of jack squat from the 18z runs.
