Going off the crude ncep maps it looks like the fv3gfs is going to come in colder and snowier for the upstate. This model is either going to go out in flames, or live in infamy after this storm.

We are going to see 33 and rain or three feet of snow. Just not sure which yet.

I'm gonna need people to start putting a dot on RAH [aka weenieland] for every model they post.  This way the rest of us can: " lol wut?" When they weenie out over a cold rain map

If Panovich's in house model is correct weenie land, oh sorry, RDU posters will crash the server for this thread!

I have a feeling everyone who isn't in the mountains or Virginia is gonna end up here before we're done. As for us in the triad, I really don't like being a few miles from disaster on both the NAM and RGEM.

It'll be nice to have some company for once in here!

Not sure why all the cliff jumping for some in Upstate SC. WYFF still seems highly confident and has even upped the snow totals in some places.

Of course, I'm also sitting good being up in TR too. First winter on the good side of I-85! Glad I made that move lol

Chris justus is a model hugging hype artist.  Just sayin.
