Not sure why I continue to get my hopes up despite each passing storm whiffing or worse, just some flurries. Sometimes a weak expression of pity is the strongest form of punishment. I don't know how, but Frosty has stopped in and said that this isn't his storm and wished luck to folks to his south and east. You seem to enjoy the doldrums and revel in it. It's become your badge of honor. You will have three inches of snow on the ground Thursday morning and will still refuse to believe that it's there. I would rather get a cold rain than any ice. I grew up in Fayetteville and remember getting so mad at the kids in Raleigh who got out of school for snow when we got rain.
