Thanatos_I_Am
BombI'd pay a dirty amount of money for a 980 off the Delmarva with 1040 high over Toronto.

I want a 1050 over Maine with a 980 over Knoxville. 10" of snow, 1" of sleet" 1/2" of freezing rain, 1" of snow after the transfer, followed by 1050 parked over Chicago. Windman18
CMC has 2 waves. First gives us a couple inches, second is suppressed. GFS is close with the first but too far southeast.

That wasn't even the system that was the threat before. That one is almost totally washed out. But there is time for it to trend better. I'm not as worried about a miss south as simply a flow that's bad for amplification.

Ralph Wiggum
Isn't that 144+hr event technically our storm we were watching for next Saturday for a while? The energy split tho with a rogue wave ejecting from the main vorticity Thurs-Fri with the main sw hanging back off the Oregon coast. Finally heads East and develops later in the weekend on the GFS. Interesting....maybe the caboose wave will be the one to produce.
