yoda
GFS is getting there, but it ends up being a close miss... nice juicy wave but couldn't turn the corner... NC gets blitzed with near a foot... also helpful that the 1038 H moves in tandem eastward with the SLP keeping us nice and cold
ErinInTheSky
I don't feel bad about this run. It gives us a slight bit of snow, but also, just a nudge north puts us sitting pretty.
WinterWxLuvr
This is really close. Seasonal trends say we are in a very good place, but this run is such an outlier to prior runs, so ... Funny that PSU and I were discussing one consolidated piece earlier. yoda
I do like the deepening coastal that GGEM has from 168 to 192... 168 - 1006 near Mobile Bay AL 180 - 1006 near CHS (off of SE SC coast) 192 - 995 heading up the East Coast in a NE direction
Ralph Wiggum
Followup system on gfs post 240 looks tasty too. Certainly not a dull pattern we are entering anyway.Eta: slp out in rockies sprawled out strong HP. You know we'll end up tracking that sucker eventually too in some way, shape, or form. Windman18
I like where we are right now. Euro gives us a nice snowstorm, GFS and CMC trending toward a more Euro type solution. Looks like this could be a more dynamic storm, possible noreaster type as opposed to the typical overrunning it showed the last couple days. LOL Browser was open on my phone but I was watching the orange bowl. Lol I have nothing to add. Gfs jumped big with losing wave 1 and much more confluence. Long lead so who knows. Jumpy models cannot be trusted especially beyond their useful range. Hopefully the gefs shows some consistency.
