That was surprising considering they reported Heavy snow with .25 mile visibility at 1pm & recorded .03 of precip. So, they got the same squall that most of us experienced, but didn't at least put a couple of tenths of an inch of snow in the books ? Hopefully they will update this tonight with the final end of day report. They recorded a T for the final update. Awesome !
MAG5035
Heavy snow and 20ºF... 0.6" so far.
Voyager
Anyone looking at radar this morning? It's as if Moses himself is standing out on the western Schuylkill County border and splitting the initial wave of snow to the north and south respectively... MAG5035
24ºF and Moderate snow. Up to 2.2" so far.
Voyager
The "Schuylkill Split" seems to have filled in some, and radar looks good to the west, so maybe this one performs at least as forecast with a general 1-3 for the area. The Super Bowl storm, at the moment, looks to be wet, rather than white, so who knows with that one...
heavy_wx
Looks like we have about an inch of snow here with occasional moderate snow.
Voyager
Not an inch yet, but things sure changed rather quickly. We now have a good, moderate snow falling outside, making look like a classic winter snow day. I'm off work right now, waiting for my drug test results for the new company, so it doesn't bother me today like it would otherwise...
Santa Clause
Over an inch I would guess, snowing pretty good.

canderson
I guess we had a trace this am. Not sure the different in a trace and .1" really, but the ground was nearly covered but you could see individual flakes so it wasn't saturated if that makes sense. Voyager
I was gonna say, it looks like true central PA is going to cash in with this one. Good radar returns from DuBois south to Johnstown (including State College) indicate where the best snows are, and have been. Here, we are in another dry slot and have recorded about 1/4 inch so far. It snowed pretty hard for about half hour, but otherwise has been nothing but flurries/very light snow.
2001kx
right around 4.5 " here with mod snow.

Voyager
The mountains are eating this one alive for my location. You guys in true central are doing well, then the dry slot along the I-81 corridor, then it all fires back up again for northern NJ, SE New York state, NYC, and Connecticut. Typical clipper scenario around here...
MillvilleWx
Congrats to the True Central guys and Mag for this one. Was looking pretty good yesterday on the models. Really providing the punch over that area of PA. Keep it rolling!
