For those that got the winds, that's good.

IN Most of CT the high winds did not materialize... which is par for the course.  Meteorologist Joe Fury was just on saying that for most of the state the winds did not materialize and were WAY below the prediction, and there are only 15 power outages in CT.

So for those very few in CT who did experience some powerful gusts, im sure it was exciting.  Most of us saw and had Nothing..and I mean barely breezy.

That's incorrect. Barely breezy. Come on. Everyone gusted 45-50 and some over that. Sorry your area didn't .

The 60+ did not happen though

Deep deep winter. Pretty cool we sustained near 40 around midnight last night with gusts near 55. Pretty loud for a while.  All the wind storms we had this past year has certainly thinned the herd.

It's a good time to check the window and door insulation!  I think I need to do some work on that come springtime......

I almost feel sorry for the kid having to go out and wait on the bus this morning.  Good character builder!

Kevin that is not true at all.  Maybe you gusted to 45-50, but the majority of the state did not.  When a well respected Meteorologist comes on the radio and TV and says the winds didn't materialize like forecast/projected, and many can attest to that, that isn't incorrect.

out east towards your way and east of there, yes you guys gusted to 45-50...but most did not.  Glad you guys did..but most didn't.  15 power outages in the state is a big clue.
