Don't even have that familiar roar up above that I usually hear in big wind events. I can't tell you how many times they call for roaring winds/gusts, and nothing comes of it. i mean, is it really that tricky to forecast winds ..even a few hours prior?? Ya no roar here either. Maybe it picks up later? But I doubt it.

LikesNaturesFury
I'm in Northeast RI. We just got hammered for maybe 20 minutes with some serious winds. NWS definition of sustained winds: Wind speed determined by averaging observed values over a two-minute period. So I'm wondering if we had more than a series of gusts. Anyone on now in my area who has a similar story? My house has made new noises in these winds. The roar was pretty intense. Hopefully reports will show something in this area at around 1130p. Smithfield, North Smithfield, Cumberland area in RI.

Yeah, what for days looked like, at best, a stingy swfe event gradient favoring W to E with snowfall might end up being an E MA coup. We'll see what the mesos say tomorrow.
