bluewave
Could be some giant snowflakes and bright banding with such strong low level WAA snows. The only question is how much moisture gets in here before the dry slot arrives in the afternoon.

Not to mention steady rain followed by a brief period of "possible" snow with marginal temps. jm1220
Going to be a race between the heavy snow thump and the warm air on south winds down here. I've seen the snow be successful sometimes for a few hours or so-there could be 3-5" just about everywhere if it comes in like a wall and goes to town. If it comes in as broken echos it'll be hard to break 1-2" with the opportunity to quickly warm up near the city/coast.

This setup is a very weak shortwave embedded in fast flow slamming into a high. This is about as good a setup here for overrunning possible because the mid-levels often do not warm as fast, and the system does not have much room to amplify into a monster cutting bomb. The only bad thing is the high positioning is further south than you want it.
