tamarack
Measured 3.0" at 7 AM, with 0.21" LE, pretty good ratio considering the tiny flakes. Temp holding in upper teens, -SN at the moment. Need 8.5" to top any storm since January 2015, and might have a chance. Edit: Love seeing some more Maine peeps on the board - welcome to all. dendrite
I had 3.5" at 7am...that was an 8hr sample considering it started around 11pm. The ratios kinda suck...w.e. was 0.41". 8.5:1 sucks. Cold Miser
1.25" before rain kicked in in Brooklyn, CT this a.m. Left for work at about 6:00. Roads were crappy. alex
It is ripping out here but I have no idea how much we got/are getting. It's very windy (10-20 mph) and it's just drifting all over the place. Temp

Expand If I have to sacrifice liquid then sure, give me the man snow. But with all water equivs being equal I'd like a little more fluff than 8-9:1. I remember you saying the best lift here was below the DGZ. I assume way up north by tamarack that DGZ is just low enough to line up with the better omega. Regardless, 5-6" of dense sugar is fine by me. I wish we had data that separated the liquid equiv out for frozen precip vs liquid/freezing. I probably outperform BUF seasonally with that vs actual snowfall.
