tuanis
Pretty pathetic what this event resulted in compared to what could have been. Still, third consecutive weekend storm - it's been an impressive December. Hoping January doesn't flip on us.
Nelson
Unofficially about 2-2.5" down here. Pixie dust falling. Returns building a bit to the west - hoping they hold together. At this point, I think we will underachieve unless the band tomorrows produces.

We've had a decent start, I see the long term has really shuffled things around - looking like highs in the 40's / 50's around Christmas. End of the snow is almost here. Probably end up being a freezing drizzle/sleety morning and afternoon and maybe a little 1-2" thump later in the evening but feel that's probably optimistic. Those dry models might be right after all.

DrOldSchool
Indianapolis is a total mess right now from the freezing drizzle. Basically every highway is a parking lot full of crashes.

Jackstraw
Not good when salt trucks are taking it on the chin. It's really deceptive. I had no ice on my walkway or driveway but as soon as I got on the road it was like glass. There was hardly any ice on my car.

Jackstraw
Heard a big kaboom about 20 minutes ago and lost power. Called my neighbor about a half mile away, they said a pick up hit a pole and took a transformer out. Everyone's ok. I knew when I sold that generator this summer that this would happen lol. Stebo
Measured 2.0" at home just about 10 minutes ago. It is snowing still but not too hard... Quite a fail event it seems, though others seem to have gotten worse.
MoistWx
Didn't get as much out of that heavy band that passed through central OH as I expected. "Walked" outside and saw a coating of ice on pretty much everything though, and almost fell a couple of times. Definitely would not want to be out on the roads right now around here. Backyard station showing 29F right now and still pretty moderate -FZRA falling. As much as I love interesting meteorological events, ice storms aren't something I enjoy. stormtrackertf
Weirdly still snowing decently with large flakes in spite of there being nothing on radar overhead.
Chambana
Temps still are still hanging on below freezing here, and the roads are a complete disaster. We've had Freezing Rain, Freezing Mist, Ice pellets, and wintry mix since 8PM. Looking at the road in the dark almost looks scary, like glass reflecting in your eyes. Chambana
Also despite radar showing virtually nothing, CMI has been reporting precipitation for quite a few hours, and I can confirm.
