Hoosier
Very small improvement in the upper levels at 24 hrs on the 00z NAM for tomorrow's wave. Not sure how much better of a result it will yield but let's see.

In fact, the 00z NAM takes the "low" from Louisville to SE Ohio. Gotta say, growing concerned about icing issues here tomorrow if we get light precip to develop. Even the NAM doesn't get us to 32*F now.

RobertSul
Not feeling warm and fuzzy about this storm in my immediate area - bands of snow keep dissipating overhead. Such promise this one had! Good luck to those further north.
CoalCityWxMan
I was on I-55 for about 7 miles, saw an accident & someone who slid off the road. Not a very congested area of I-55 at all either. If we get a few more hours of this freezing drizzle some real problems could start occurring

cyclone77
Latest 3km WRF looking pretty lol worthy with tomorrow's post frontal stuff. LSRs associated with those snows are probably not going to be so hot given the strong winds whipping it around. Since model trends seem to only get worse with this storm I can only assume that will continue lol. Final call for here/QC 0.3-1.4".
Hoosier
The long lull around here last weekend was pretty bad, and this will be another one. Won't really be until very late afternoon or early evening tomorrow that snow picks up in earnest.

Those are definitely good things in terms of preserving snow pack, given the possibility we were facing a mere 12 hours ago.

Yeah I'm not gonna complain about a few more inches and very little melting, just wish we'd get some lake effect bands down here in London, so far it's all been North of us.
