rochesterdave
What a night across Monroe County. Great little event. Still snowing moderately in Irondequoit. We have had over 8". Getting reports of a foot in western portions of the county. We have a few more inches in some areas. Band could lift back north for a few hrs. Tim, how much did Marion get? SouthBuffaloSteve
Whatever happened to that arctic squall that was supposed to drop off 2-4" last night? I know it was advertised for a few days and never played out. Oh well. Maybe the last hurrah of the Erie band can over deliver today. Been a great winter week in the ROC and I got in two fun and interesting chases. Measured about 10 inches at my house but would have been a little more had I done it in the right time increments. That said, It looks like the show is over until Mid January.

If we could grab a quick inch or two from that dyin Erie band and catch 3-4" tomorrow that would sure help out to keep the grass covered during this little thaw. SouthBuffaloSteve
Are some of my posts double showing? I don't know why. When I add a link or imbed an image they are showing twice, at least in my feed anyways. If it's just text it only shows once... How do I fix that? Buffalo Bumble
Heavy snow in Lancaster for last hour as that band runs up the lake. Should be a fresh few inches for the airport.
lakeeffectkid383
Looks like the South Buffalo, W.S. , Lancaster area has been getting hit good for a while and the band seems to be stalling a bit as usual when it hits that spot. Maybe someone pulls out a quick 4-5"?
