powderfreak
This is nuts. Around 14" total at the base with 40" on the ground. Still snowing lightly. Deepest snow I've skied in a long time.
eyewall
Snow has ended here for the time being but no complaints about 11.6" and a 14" depth or so. That is deep winter in Winooski.

I can't really stick a ruler in the ground right now because the bottom 3'-4" that has stuck around since the beginning of December is so rock hard it would snap the yardstick lol. I think we have somewhere around 18" - 22" before any settling today.

Ok, Feb 15 was better down here, snowfall wise and depth wise. Depth peak was 29" which is really impressive for my hood which is not great at retention. Still 2 weeks to go in Feb still though

I've had 11"+ LE since Dec 1, and all but 1-1.5" is still on the ground. The 2" sleetbomb in late Jan left a crust I can walk on - made roof shoveling dicey Saturday. However, somebody in eastern Maine must be ahead by now, or will be when this event is done.

backedgeapproaching
Working on 31 straight hours of some type of snow in the air, even though many of the hours are mood snow not really adding up to much of anything. Final total should be 12"+
borderwx
another 1" of fluff throughout the day. Has never stopped snowing here, imagine upper elevations are phat. Drift busting morning coming up I think.

No it's a 2-stage, but no match for a 5' drift. We have a snowplow (driveway is 1/3 mile), but I need to keep a path to the downstairs apartment clear, since we rent it out. The issue is the entire system - as I've discovered, the front of the house (where the snow stake is) is nicely scoured by wind, so THAT is where the path should be. We'll do some landscaping this summer and make an actual driveway to the back door, so that we can use the plow. The area behind the house is just too prone to drifting. Went for a walk in the woods, found a stake that I had placed in the summer - the snow is just about 3' deep in the woods. Keeps snowing moderately but it's incredibly fluffy ,so doesn't really add much in depth
powderfreak
Still snowing lightly with a fresh few tenths in the past hour or two. This is pure cotton candy at this point. Town actually looks as good as it has since 2010-11 winter. I had 23" for a depth this afternoon...that'll settle out though a bit. This storm felt like 13-15:1 ratios...like 0.8-0.9" liquid for 13". Mountain probably had 1.1" or so, makes sense based on what models were showing for QPF. I think models did well with QPF, we just got an extra boost from good snow growth in that banding last evening.

Lava Rock
Kind of pointless snow depth as a lot of it is from snowblower, but I think we've surpassed 2015 with total snow on ground.
