 For you and I, It's the lower 3000ft that warm with S-Se winds. I would feel much better if we had a high anchored to the NE.

I think one thing being overlooked is if said location is nearly isothermal..if the precip is heavy ..even though it may near or at freezing bottom up..you'll see said place stay snow longer than a model would have you believe..meaning almost all snow and ends as ice and maybe a bit of dz at 33-34

Yeah you will do a bit better than the city. The euro verbatim just had the thump starting a bit too late verbatim, but I think those areas I mentioned benefited from it. Anyways, still have a day to work out details.
