In a few hours the dry slot south of us will blossom into heavy precip I see that downtown A2 did get 11.2" of my hope for 12" so very pleased about that. Looks like there was only a little evidence of some enhancement on the glacier ridge this time around.
Chinook
This map doesn't show the 10.2" at Toledo Express Airport (0.90" of liquid equivalent). It looks like 6"-8" was commonly reported near and northwest of Toledo

michsnowfreak
Shoveling this heart attack snow was quite a workout. Temps rose to 36F at DTW after the snow. We lost 3 inches in depth, and now have a 7-8" deep glacier.
Chinook
Here are two loops of this snowstorm. Since a lot of the lift of the storm could be best interpreted based on the 700mb or 850mb temperature advection, I have decided to make an 850mb temperature loop. I would have used the NCAR/RAP composite radar, but the web site had no data yesterday. http://www.greatlakes.salsite.com/Dec_10_12_2016_radar_loop.html http://www.greatlakes.salsite.com/Dec_10_12_2016_850mb_loop.html
