Yesterday, I visited Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. I have been wanting to get back there for a while and finally made. A double Sundog just before sunset. It was at such an angle that I couldn't quite find a good place to stand and avoid trees, etc. So I decided to be "artsy" and purposely take a shot with tree branches in front...giving the illusion of a "shadow" on the moon's surface! The beach has gotten "less wide" due to the storms of this past year. There used to be a large stretch of beach before you reach the dunes. Evening glow over the marsh... Sunset...
