cyclone77
Nice to see the system overachieve in a large area. Last band of heavier snow moving through right now. Temp has risen to 33, and the snow has begun to compact some. Looks like the final total will be very close to 9". Will take last measurement in an hour or so when it's over. EDIT: I'd have to look, but I'm pretty sure this is the biggest snowfall I've ever seen with a dominant southerly wind component the whole event. IWXwx
Rain here has now transitioned to snow and coming down nicely. We might even buy and inch or two out this way.
Hoosier
This is about as good as it gets for a cake job. Hardly any wind and absolutely nothing has blown off the trees and power lines. Though air temp is hovering fractions of a degree above freezing, the elevated objects are likely a tad colder.
SchaumburgStormer
Averaged a few locations, looks like 6.8" with light snow still falling. Will probably get to 7.

cyclone77
Snow has shut off. Final total 9.5". That's about 5-6" more than I figured we'd get based on around 0.4" precip, and LSRs <10:1. Hell of a way to kick off the season.

IWXwx
Solid SN here now. Not going to get anything close what you guys to my north and west are getting, but I was only expecting a DAB. Should end up with a couple of inches.

Mogget
Very nice snow--I make it just about 4.5 inches, so a bit of an over performer IMBY. Kittens loved it, though. They were rolling around in it like puppies!
hawkeye_wx
My 4.2 inches of snow melted down to 0.63" from gauge catch and 0.65" from the core sample on the snow board. This system was juiced. It was fun to watch the snow fall during daylight, but it is a total slop fest out there. I hate cleaning up after these kind of events.

Hoosier
Will get a total later but I'm probably around 4" now. Even 1 degree colder would've made a noticeable difference I think.

Was wobbling around either side of 32.5 for the bulk of the snow.
n1vek
Solid screw hole over SE Michigan. Had no expectations, but still "fun" to watch. Happy to spend another season tracking.
DaveNay
This is the wettest, heavyest, stickyest snow I have seen in years. Took almost 90 min to clear the driveway and the blower looks like it is plugged with frosting. My snow blower cross section and eyeball say 8"-9" here with zero drifting.
