I am becoming more bullish on some CAD and some spots not too far north of here getting some ZR or IP in that timeframe. Latest Wxsim (combo program with GFS/NAM blend) has over 1" of rain in NW Chester County on Tuesday with temps holding in the 30's. It has upgrades all the time and I run a monthly routine that uses my stations actuals to both assess it's accuracy and then the differences get incorporated into the program to "learn" from it's mistakes. Of interest I see the NWS in their latest discussion talking about that possible wintry scenario on Tuesday I mentioned above " If precipitation gets into the northern areas fast enough, snow or mixed precipitation could occur for a time" Maybe not so crazy a thought.... RedSky Posted December 5, 2016 Share Posted December 5, 2016 A bit bummed today on the snow fail overnight. Too warm and the precipitation moved out hours faster than forecast.
