Lol yeah. Telling people to go GFY after dismantling their distorted view of climo. He could've just admitted he was being over optimistic the first time.

since we all know that climate tends to follow along the geographic delineation of state lines ... it's always amazed me that N maine could be snowing prolifically like it were Canada or something when it's clearly in New England...

also, ...you guys in the NWS should be pushing to NOT have Logan Airport's highly marine contamination, if not out right guided, statistics included in 'southern new england's'  "climatology" ... there's red tape; then there's just dicktart illogical hand-me-down bullcrap.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone!    A snow weenie in his 70s-all hell can break loose!

One of these years we will get you a good snow event for your Bday...break the curse of Dec 1st. For some reason, it's a very weak day for snow records. Despite it being a bit early, you'd figure we would have had better than an inch or two over the years.

It's amazing how often it's like today or yesterday.   We had warnings in 1999 for the system that got RDU for 20 but it veered out to sea.   Funny thing is I was away from Boston and nearly apoplectic the day before...lol.

For some reason Nov 30th to Dec 2nd is a dead zone historically. Since 1891 there has only been 1 day in Boston on Dec 1st with over 1 inch of snow

What site did you get this from? Doesn't look like climod and the regular threadex site doesn't have snowfall.

So you're saying it would be easy for Jerry to have a records breaking snowfall on his birthday, assuming it would ever snow on Dec 1st.

Happy birthday Jerry!
