Ginx snewx
Sugarloaf Happy December Sugarloafers, and welcome to winter! We woke up to a fresh 4-5" of dense, base-building snow and it's still coming down hard with no sign of stopping. The word up on the hill is the snow is 6-8" deep, with a drier and drifty consistency above Chicken Pitch.

Typhoon Tip
since we all know that climate tends to follow along the geographic delineation of state lines ... it's always amazed me that N maine could be snowing prolifically like it were Canada or something when it's clearly in New England... also, ...you guys in the NWS should be pushing to NOT have Logan Airport's highly marine contamination, if not out right guided, statistics included in 'southern new england's' "climatology" ... there's red tape; then there's just dicktart illogical hand-me-down bullcrap. It's amazing how often it's like today or yesterday. We had warnings in 1999 for the system that got RDU for 20 but it veered out to sea. Ginx snewx
The historical most likely day to get over a foot of snow is um the day before my birthday Feb 9th. When parsing the records is actually easy to see how unusual even a day with over 6 inches is, You have in boston a ~1% chance of getting 6 inches of snow in any given Nov to March day
