We have a close eye on Thur-Friday storm. I might need a new battery for my Rush 800, finally bought a tender for it but think it may be too late. 2 battery in 3+ years. Anyway next 7-12 day period looks pretty decent so far may cut to far for me on initial synoptic snow but could get some decent LES on the back end. Just a side note you can tell APX must be really board....
weatherbo
Picked up a 2007 viper down in Negaunee a couple months ago. First time having a sled in a few years. I don't do a lot of joy riding, but I actually needed one last year a few times. May enjoy riding more than I think...Put 1000 miles on my quad over the summer. anyway, waiting on the snow. Probably 75% of all state trails are gated in the summer.
Jonger
BTW... looks like the GFS is shifting toward the Euro. Might be zilch for riding until at least mid month. How depressing.

josh_4184
Went to bed with a couple inches of fresh snowfall on the ground woke up all melted. Ground is still so warm , going to take a while to cool and freeze even when we get some good LES its going to melt from the ground up. On a side note the trees looked nice when I woke up still. slow poke
Anyone want to put odds on whether or not the north woods will have a white Christmas this year? After the brown one last year in many spots up there it's safe to say their do. We did have a white thanksgiving this year at Higgins Lake, about 4", but white thanksgivings usually mean a big warm up a couple weeks later and a brown Christmas, I hope this year bucks that trend. Pretty much a certainty for my area, Gaylord has had only a handful of brown Christmases, especially with the cold shots coming the next 10-15 days.
