Mack are you OK - rotation went over Simpsonville

I'm fine, casa de Mack is ok! Backyard has heavy tree damage, some uprooted, some snapped off at about 30' up!

heard the rumble, lost power, threw little Mack in the tub and covered with mattress! Truly terrifying 20 seconds! There is HEAVY damage to some houses, can see through framing and studs! I'm gonna go DEF a tornado!!

we will see what isohume and the boys find in the next day or so!! First one ever went through and it wasn't fun at all

Still several stout rotations embedded in that line, headed generally for Charlotte and areas just south of Charlotte.....very populated areas regardless....

extreme low-level and deep layer shear

CAPE is very weak but NON-ZERO

almost looks like embedded storms rather then a line(but not quite)

We both like bad weather, but that was a a little too much. Glad you are ok. It sounds as if the tornado went right over your area. We got limbs knocked down here and very heavy rain, but no real damage that I can see.

Law enforcement shut down West Georgia Road near Greenville Tech after tornado damage was reported at a mobile home park in the area.

Judy Fancher, who lives in the community, said when she got to the neighborhood, an officer told her that there are "mobile homes in trees." When she talked to WYFF News 4, she did not know the status of her home because residents were not being allowed into the community due to downed power lines.

:o Wow.
