really?! damaging tornadoes and twc is airing secrets of the searth?!

Pretty pathetic. What's the point in even having a weather channel if they aren't going to be live during important weather events ? I'm sure if there was a tornado in the Atlanta area they would be going live.

Huntsville LSR says 3 fatalities so far in Rosalie, which is near Pisgah

and Ider in NE Alabama.  Substantial damage to many structures

along that corridor.  Considerable damage in many SE Tennessee

communities as well.  At the current moment, a strong circulation

was near Cullman AL.

All 3 fatalities were in the same home, damage to that area sounded pretty significant and early images show totally destroyed structures.....

should see some warnings for western NC and into the Piedmont areas today per Skype conference call below were some of the key points for locally damaging winds

1) morning temps are 30+degrees above average

2) already seeing warnings late this morning in the higher elevations of north-east TN and south-west VA

I don't think so.

Line is actually breaking up a bit with some heating. LCLs remain low. Wind shear, both speed and direction, remains robust. Low CAPE high shear situation continues. Parts of Georgia may need a 10% TOR (not hatched though) later today. I would first guess south of I-20 but too early to clear ATL north 'burbs and also too early to really pin down the 10%. Remember the hi-res models are programmed for the Plains. This is Dixie Alley.
