ForestHillWx Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 I think the GFS is over amping some of the storms right now; the flow appears a bit too quick, with not much to slow it down on the Atlantic side in order to allow a traversing system to amp up and cut to the lakes. LGA's average first freeze occurs on 11/24, NYC on 11/20, and JFK on 11/19. I'm confused. Still hovering just above 32F, first freeze is either gonna happen this morning or tonight.
