I've heard others say the Euro doesn't seem as steady as it used to be, probably all anecdotal, but it definitely seems to be jumping around more lately. I'm not sure if this patter is giving it fits or the upgrade though.

Yep. 6+ storms so rare, have to take what we can get with these smaller ones and hopefully over perform. The squalls on Thursday are next.. Bernie Rayno coming out with video on squalls on Thurs. We'll see what he says for WPa.

Ratios must have been terrible. Yeah, I think this was more of a wet snow. I noticed when I was looking at the models last night on Pivotal that the Kuchera maps were giving us less than what the 10:1 ratio maps were. So yeah, the ratios must have been lower for this one. olafminesaw
A very nice looking last hurrah band incoming, hopefully high ratio snow (the stuff that's falling now has that pixie dust look to it).

CoraopolisWx
The Namx 3km did a good job on this one. As far back as Sunday 12z it had most of the system in sight. Gfs had basically nothing.
blackngoldrules
Looks like one more quick band that is currently in eastern Ohio may get some of us to finish things off. How are the roads out there? Haven't been out all day. I'd like to make a run to the store a bit later.
SteelCity08
Looks like I'll end up with a little over 3 inches. Fun little storm, especially since I wasn't expecting much of anything until last night. Hopefully we get a couple more surprises this week before the warm up. I got some good ones of the house and street with the Christmas lights on tonight. I always like how snow makes everything quiet outside by muffling the sound. I'll never get tired of that. i ended up with 4.0", 0.23" melted equivalent with the heated rain gauge.
