The northerly winds are having no problem cooling the relatively dry air at the surface. And once the heavier precip starts it won't take long for the changeover. 

 

Dew point is 24, will definitely help to get some wet bulbing going on too once precip moves in. Should be a relatively quick changeover.

And that is still with a messy phase, if it gets its act together faster and the trough digs a little further its coming west no doubt, and will be a beast. Potential is there, may not max out in our backyards though.

I think the temp will drop dramatically when the precip starts falling in AGC. Won't take long for the evaporative cooling to take place.
