psunate1977
looks like wild weather just out to our west. Several Tornado warnings.
jwilson
A couple minor hook echoes to my West. Tornado Warning in Greene County, mainly central Greene with the rotation backing Northeast, but there's a couple more notches forming south of that primary warning I'm keeping my eyes on. jwilson
I can't speak for everyone, but I'm ready for severe season now after today. I'm over the "winter that barely was." I don't realistically expect much snow this month, anyway. We'll probably finish with another >+3 by the time March is over.
psunate1977
Rain has passed and sun is starting to peak through. Hopefully it destabilizes the atmosphere for another severe storm round later as front approaches.

The snow thursday night gives us a few inches, but whatever is on the ground will be gone by Saturday afternoon with temps going near 40 and near 60 on Sunday-Monday. Next week looks pretty warm also with highs in the upper 40's to mid 50's. I am still waiting for our cold and snowy February.

CranberryWX
Wow! What a wild ride in weather the past 24 hours. I had stuff blown around on the deck last night that usually doesn't move. There is even a trace of snow this morning. This is why I like this hobby, though I kinda hope this will be our last snow fall tonight and tomorrow. I am starting to enjoy the warmth and good things that come with it.

Many bugs eat other bugs and sometimes when one population of bugs get wiped out it lets others survive therefore you get more. Here is just one article that I found but there are many more out there. http://www.mnn.com/your-home/organic-farming-gardening/stories/does-a-cold-winter-decrease-bugs

north pgh
I have to drive to Bradford and back tomorrow afternoon. Could be an interesting drive. Another is series of shortwaves may invigorate snow showers after daybreak. The snow squall parameter shows some potential for impact over locations north of Pittsburgh including I-80. Further quick accumulation is likely, even spreading into the upslope areas of the Ridges.
