I'd say it's a wash as the NAM usually is the wetter model, though verifies less often. Unless you're in one of those two spots there's not much to see. blackngoldrules
Looks like you better live in the North Hills on North or Westmoreland County on East to get anything of note. I'm in the South Hills screw zone (well, most of the time), so I'll just have to be happy to see any kind of whitening of the ground. CranberryWX
Front just passed through here...big gust of wind, leaves are flying. Temp dropped 10 degrees in a few minutes.

CranberryWX
Maybe a 1/2" here and most of that came in a flurry this morning. At least the yard is white.
Digger
Measured 1 1/2" on the hood of my truck when I brushed it off about an hour ago. That was here in Hopewell.
CoraopolisWx
Most of ours came between 11pm and 1am last night. Seems like there's been pockets of dry air around the region, making the totals more random than usual. Although it's been nice avoiding another November shutout. jwilson
I was surprised we got as much as we did down here, all 1/2" of it. Still, that's a win considering. There were some periods of decent snow but it wasn't accumulating.
CoraopolisWx
Officially 1.6" today. Last season we didn't get our first daily 1.0" snow until 1/12/16. I'm ok with spending a few more dollars a month on heat this season, because temps in the lower 80's at 3am is still fresh in my mind. Lol

I was looking at that this morning on 00z GFS run. Thursday next week looks interesting. Western PA is possibly in play with a low riding up the Apps. If not, at least the temps stay near normal to slightly below normal for a while.

That is a nice track on the 00z, to bad its next Thursday not this one! Seems like a fairly active period coming up, with the first couple of storms cutting well to the West of us, but slowly each one dragging the trough East, so we have a chance as that process progresses at getting some sort of App / Inland runner. Either way no extreme torches or arctic blasts on the way from what I saw of the latest Euro Weeklies, I think we average close to normal temp wise which is perfectly fine considering we are heading into Dec.
