H2O
got back form florida yesterday evening and I wan NOT enjoying the cooler temps. It was almost a 40 degree temp difference from Orlando to here. I'm sitting here at home drinking hot chocolate looking at the 48F temp right now and shivering. dailylurker
Beautiful late fall day out there. I've seen some forecasted rainfall totals for up to 3" of rain this week in our region. That sure would be great if it happens.

Hoping for at least a widespread 1-2 inches of rain over the next week.

mattie g
It's going to be really weird to: See rain Have it rain for a couple days I was picking up the leaves yesterday and it was like the Dust Bowl in my backyard. I'm not sure my lawn is going to know what to do with even a half inch of rain. It's been quite a beautiful fall, but I'm hoping this signals some sort of mix up of the pattern that sees a bit more in the way of precip coming into winter. Yeah dust bowl is a good way to describe it. I have a ton of leaves and I was using the blower and had to put goggles and a mask on.
smokeybandit
Cleared my gutters and other spots where lots of leaves could cause problems with rain. Good to go.

I used the mower mulcher/mower bagger technique and had the mucus membranes of a coal miner when I was done.

North Balti Zen
So if we are going to chase our usual snowflakes this year, I would really like to see some sign that we can still get moisture in these parts at this point. To that end, really hoping the rain is legit the next few days.
