Most people from LI are Islander-Jets-Mets fans. It doesn't get much worse than that, unless you were around for the Isles in the early 80's.

Most of my friends are Islanders, Giants and Yankees.  I know a lot of Mets fans though and a few Jets fans.

Great thing about this upcoming storm is it appears to finally hit everyone. I'm talking up into the mountains. Looks like a classic at this point

Looks like we're getting lucky again. Perfectly timed features in a meh pattern.

You made a great call on this. I've been pretty bullish personally on the threat, really like the baroclinic zone and the mid-levels start going to town over the Delmarva.

NYC continues to get lucky...another deformation band that looks to sit right over the 5 Boroughs.

I agree with pazzo in the storm thread...I'm more than willing to ship our snow to the outer suburb guys after 6 ours. All the dog **** and McDonald's wrappers included!

You will have to ship it to a cold enough location that will miss the big melt coming a few days after.

Definitely not getting any kind of snow retention on the coast or anywhere near with this year's pattern. That's fine by me, though.

Prolonged snowpack is not a very enjoyable experience here in the city.

Meteorology not modelology. The solid posters and mets in this sub forum know the deal.

Personally I thought this was a car topper. And it so easily could have been. This is the ultimate example of threading the needle

Forky what's your day job?  I thought the met tags were by degree not necessarily for professional meteorologists so I was wondering if you really do do this all day.

Thanks again for the years of excellent discussion and even better snarkiness lol.  It's much needed.
