SPS from OKX

...Rain quickly changing to or mixing with snow and sleet across the
northeast New Jersey...the New York City metropolitan area...and the
lower Hudson Valley...

At 1140 PM EST...radar and spotter reports both indicated that as
temperatures quickly fall through the 40s and into the 30s this
evening...rain was changing to or mixing with snow and sleet.
Trained spotters in West Milford and Linden reported accumulation of
snow and sleet on roadways. A rumble or two of thunder is also
possible. Meanwhile...west winds will gust as high as 45 mph.

Use extra caution if you must travel this evening. Be prepared for
snow or sleet covered roads especially in the higher elevations.
Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.
